1. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)

2. Masters Degree

• Degree with 3.00+ CGPA or 2.40-2.99 CGPA + 3 years post-graduation.
• Candidates who have obtained a Third Class honors degree and have at least five years of post-graduation experience are eligible to apply.
• Applicants must possess a Postgraduate Diploma from Federal University Gashua or any recognized institution with at least a pass at the credit level.
• Candidates whose degrees are unclassified, but have an average grade of C or above, are eligible to apply.
• Candidates need a Higher National Diploma (minimum credit) from recognized institutions and a Postgraduate Diploma (minimum pass at credit level) from Federal University Gashua in relevant areas.

3. Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) and Masters by Research Degrees

• Graduates who have obtained an approved first degree with at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division) from Federal University Gashua or other recognized institutions.
• A Second Class Honours Degree with a substantial amount of pertinent industrial experience is required.

4. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Degree

• Graduates who have obtained a Master’s Degree relevant to the proposed areas of study from Federal University Gashua.
• Graduates from other recognized universities who hold a master’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 on a 5.00 scale.
• Candidates for the Ph.D. programs may be required to pass a qualifying examination and/or undergo a probationary period not exceeding 12 calendar months.
