To get the application form for the IAUE School of Postgraduate Studies, you must meet the following requirements:
1. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
Candidates must pass English and Mathematics at the O’ level (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) to meet matriculation requirements.
Graduates who have obtained at least a third-class honors degree from Ignatius Ajuru University of Education or any other recognized university.
Individuals who hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least a Lower Credit grade from recognized institutions are eligible.
Holders of any other qualifications, along with relevant field experience deemed acceptable by the University.
2. Masters Degree
Candidates must have credits in English Language and Mathematics at the O’ level (e.g. WAEC, NECO, NABTEB).
IAUE graduates with approved 1st degree, 2nd Class Honours (Lower).
Degree with 3.00+ CGPA or 2.40-2.99 CGPA + 3 years post-graduation.
Candidates who have obtained a Third Class honors degree and have at least five years of post-graduation experience are eligible to apply.
Applicants must possess a Postgraduate Diploma from Ignatius Ajuru University of Education or any recognized institution with at least a pass at the credit level.
Candidates whose degrees are unclassified, but have an average grade of C or above, are eligible to apply.
Candidates need a Higher National Diploma (minimum credit) from recognized institutions and a Postgraduate Diploma (minimum pass at credit level) from Ignatius Ajuru University of Education in relevant areas.
3. Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) and Masters by Research Degrees
Graduates who have obtained an approved first degree with at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division) from Ignatius Ajuru University of Education or other recognized institutions.
A Second Class Honours Degree with a substantial amount of pertinent industrial experience is required.
4. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Degree
Graduates who have obtained a Master’s Degree relevant to the proposed areas of study from Ignatius Ajuru University of Education.
Graduates from other recognized universities who hold a master’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 on a 5.00 scale.
Candidates for the Ph.D. programs may be required to pass a qualifying examination and/or undergo a probationary period not exceeding 12 calendar months.
How to Apply for IAUE Postgraduate Admission Form 2024/2025:
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Candidates must complete the online application form after making a successful payment of a non-refundable fee. The fees are as follows: N40,600.00 for the PhD program, N35,600.00 for the Master’s program, and N25,600.00 for the Postgraduate Diploma (PGD). Additionally, there is a brochure fee of N7,600.00. All payments are to be made online through the Interswitch Payment gateway. Please follow the procedure below for both online payment and registration for the programs.
1. Please visit the university’s website at www.iauoe.edu.ng.
2. Select “Postgraduate School” from the Admissions menu.
3. Visit the Postgraduate School website and select Registration from the menu on the left side of the page.
4. A page appears; enter the following information: – Full Name, Phone Number, Email Address, Department of Interest, and click on Register.
5. An email containing your login details will be sent to you. Additionally, your login details will be displayed on the page for you to copy and note down.
6. Click on sign-in
7. Please ensure you have selected the 2024/2025 session if you haven’t done so already.
8. To view the fees, please click on the “Fees” option in the menu on the left.
9. To pay the registration fee, click on “Generate Invoice” next to the fee, and then click on “Pay Online” to complete the payment.
10. To pay the brochure fee, click on “Generate Invoice” next to the fee, then select “Pay Online” to complete your payment.
11. Once you have successfully paid the registration and brochure fees, you can access the brochure from the documents menu on the left for detailed information about the program.
12. Update all fields on your registration form, upload your passport photo, and submit copies of your credentials.
13. Please print your Registration Form and Payment Receipt.
14. Download your referee forms and transcript label from the documents menu. Then, proceed to apply for your transcripts using your printed transcript label.
15. Log out.
