Applicant Eligible for BUT Post UTME Screening

“To be eligible for the Post UTME screening at BUT, please note the following requirements.”

  • Candidates who selected (BUT) as their first choice in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and attained the minimum cut-off mark are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates must obtain a minimum of Credit level grades in 5 subjects at (SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB) O’ Level result or its equivalent, acquired in not more than two sittings.
  • Direct Entry candidates who chose or seek a change of institution to BUT through JAMB with A level/OND/HND/NCE/JUPEB qualification and have obtained 2024 Direct Entry JAMB forms.

How to Apply for BUT Post UTME Form

  • Click “Begin Application” at under the General Menu. Enter your UTME Registration Number on the next page.
  • Once you reach the next page and your details such as your UTME Registration Number and Full Name appear, you can proceed to make your payment. However, it’s important to note that by proceeding to make the payment, you are affirming that the details you have supplied are correct. Nevertheless, you will still be allowed to confirm your details once more before you make the payment.
  • Before making a payment, double-check that your information is accurate. Once a payment is successful, it cannot be refunded.
  • After completing the payment, you will be prompted to create an account. You’ll need to provide your email address, phone number, and a password of your choice.
  • Once you have created an account successfully, you can log in and proceed to fill out the application form.
  • Please take note that after successfully creating an account, you should use the “Returning Applicant” link under the General Menu. However, if you have not yet made a payment and created an account as stated above, please use the “Begin Application” link instead.
  • As a “Returning Applicant”, you will be able to fill in the Application Form and complete the application process. After completing the application process, you can print out your Application Form and Payment Receipt.
  • Please note that after submitting your Application Form, you will not be able to modify the Passport Photograph uploaded or any other information provided. Therefore, kindly verify all your details and ensure that the passport uploaded belongs to you before submitting your Application form.
  • You need to revisit the same website to check your admission status and print your admission letter.

  • Please note that a bank transaction charge of ₦350.00 applies to every transaction carried out.
  • As part of the registration process, you will be redirected to the Interswitch gateway to make payment for the Application Form. To ensure a smooth transaction, please make sure you have the following information ready:

– An Interswitch-enabled Debit/ATM card that is registered for Safetoken or OTP

– The card’s “Card Number”, “Expiry Date”, “Card PIN”, and “CVV2 Code”

– Sufficient funds in the card to cover the fees quoted in this section.

In case you encounter multiple failed transactions with a particular bank’s debit card, we suggest trying a different card to complete the transaction successfully.
