To get the application form for the ABSU School of Postgraduate Studies, you must meet the following requirements:
1. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
Candidates must pass English and Mathematics at the O’ level (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) to meet matriculation requirements.
Graduates who have obtained at least a third-class honors degree from Abia State University or any other recognized university.
Individuals who hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least a Lower Credit grade from recognized institutions are eligible.
Holders of any other qualifications, along with relevant field experience deemed acceptable by the University.
2. Masters Degree
Candidates must have credits in English Language and Mathematics at the O’ level (e.g. WAEC, NECO, NABTEB).
ABSU graduates with approved 1st degree, 2nd Class Honours (Lower).
Degree with 3.00+ CGPA or 2.40-2.99 CGPA + 3 years post-graduation.
Candidates who have obtained a Third Class honors degree and have at least five years of post-graduation experience are eligible to apply.
Applicants must possess a Postgraduate Diploma from Abia State University or any recognized institution with at least a pass at the credit level.
Candidates whose degrees are unclassified, but have an average grade of C or above, are eligible to apply.

3. Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) and Masters by Research Degrees
Graduates who have obtained an approved first degree with at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division) from Abia State University or other recognized institutions.

4. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Degree
