To obtain the application form for the UNIZIK School of Postgraduate Studies, you must meet specific requirements. Here they are:
1. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
- Candidates must pass English and Mathematics at the O’ level (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) to meet matriculation requirements.
- Graduates who have obtained at least a third-class honors degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University or any other recognized university.
- Individuals who hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least a Lower Credit grade from recognized institutions are eligible.
- Holders of any other qualifications, along with relevant field experience deemed acceptable by the University.
2. Masters Degree
- Candidates must have credits in English Language and Mathematics at the O’ level (e.g. WAEC, NECO, NABTEB).
- UNIZIK graduates with approved 1st degree, 2nd Class Honours (Lower).
- Degree with 3.00+ CGPA or 2.40-2.99 CGPA + 3 years post-graduation.
- Candidates who have obtained a Third Class honors degree and have at least five years of post-graduation experience are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must possess a Postgraduate Diploma from Nnamdi Azikiwe University or any recognized institution with at least a pass at the credit level.
- Candidates whose degrees are unclassified, but have an average grade of C or above, are eligible to apply.
- Candidates need a Higher National Diploma (minimum credit) from recognized institutions and a Postgraduate Diploma (minimum pass at credit level) from Nnamdi Azikiwe University in relevant areas.
3. Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) and Masters by Research Degrees
- Graduates who have obtained an approved first degree with at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division) from Nnamdi Azikiwe University or other recognized institutions.
- A Second Class Honours Degree with a substantial amount of pertinent industrial experience is required.
4. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Degree
- Graduates who have obtained a Master’s Degree relevant to the proposed areas of study from Nnamdi Azikiwe University.
- Graduates from other recognized universities who hold a master’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 on a 5.00 scale.
- Candidates for the Ph.D. programs may be required to pass a qualifying examination and/or undergo a probationary period not exceeding 12 calendar months.

Step 1: Complete the form by providing all required information in each field and click on “Submit My Application.”
Step 2: A confirmation email will be sent to the address you provided. Please ensure it is a valid personal email address.
Step 3: Click the link in your email to validate and activate your account. Also, note the application number in the same email, as this will serve as your identity throughout your application journey.
Step 4: Log in using your application number and email after validating and activating your account.
Step 5: Once you are logged in, please verify the information provided before proceeding to pay your application fee online. Local students should use Credo, while international students should use Paystack. It’s important not to leave the Credo or Paystack payment page until you are redirected back to the application portal.
Step 6: After completing your payment, proceed with the rest of your application step by step. You can also check your email to confirm your payment.
