” If you select the University of Benin (UNIBEN) as your first choice in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinaction (UTME).”
- Candidates who scored a minimum of 170 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained at least five Credit level grades are eligible.
- Direct Entry candidates with A-level/OND/HND/NCE/JUPEB qualifications who selected UNIBEN as their first or second choice institution are eligible to apply.

How to Apply for UNIBEN Post UTME Form 2023/2024
- Visit the official UNIBEN portal via uniben.edu.ng.
- To register for an admission application, open the WAEUP portal. Then, click on the Registration button.
- Click on “Registration” button to register for your application.
- Proceed to the next page by entering your JAMB Registration number and Surname as written on your JAMB Registration slip. Your ID and Password will be displayed immediately.
- On the WAEUP KOFA Student Portal click on ‘Login’
- To access the KOFA Student Portal, please click on the ‘Login’ button.
- Click on the ‘Login’ button and enter your username and password to log in. To initiate the application process, click here.
- Click on ‘Application Record’ in CTSS and provide the necessary information. Upload a photo of your passport.
- Upload a recent passport-sized color photograph with a red background in JPEG format. To make an online payment, click “Add online payment ticket” at the bottom.
- Click on “Pay with Remita” located at the top left corner of the page after scrolling to the bottom of the page.
- Here are the instructions to pay the application fee using a valid ATM Card from any commercial bank. Please preview and confirm your information.
- Before submitting your application, remember to check the closing date. If you miss the deadline, you won’t be able to apply. On the 25th of November 2024, go back online to submit your application.
Please take note of the following information. , visit the University of Benin website (uniben.edu.ng) to submit your application and print out the acknowledgment slip. This slip will contain your specific screening schedule.
Candidates who are awaiting results are advised to obtain their results and upload them on the University of Benin website. This will update their status immediately and enable them to be considered in the e-screening exercise conducted by the school.
Please note that the Screening Exercise is as scheduled in the screening exercise slip you printed out after your Online registration. The test slip will indicate the scheduled date, time, and venue.
