OAUSTECH Postgraduate Admission Requirement

To get the application form for the OAUSTECH School of Postgraduate Studies, you must meet the following requirements:

1. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)

• Candidates must pass English and Mathematics at the O’ level (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) to meet matriculation requirements.
• Graduates who have obtained at least a third-class honors degree from Ondo State University of Science and Technology or any other recognized university.
• Individuals who hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least a Lower Credit grade from recognized institutions are eligible.
• Holders of any other qualifications, along with relevant field experience deemed acceptable by the University.

2. Masters Degree

• Candidates must have credits in English Language and Mathematics at the O’ level (e.g. WAEC, NECO, NABTEB).
• GSU graduates with approved 1st degree, 2nd Class Honours (Lower).
• Degree with 3.00+ CGPA or 2.40-2.99 CGPA + 3 years post-graduation.
• Candidates who have obtained a Third Class honors degree and have at least five years of post-graduation experience are eligible to apply.
• Applicants must possess a Postgraduate Diploma from Ondo State University of Science and Technology or any recognized institution with at least a pass at the credit level.
• Candidates whose degrees are unclassified, but have an average grade of C or above, are eligible to apply.
• Candidates need a Higher National Diploma (minimum credit) from a recognized institution and a Postgraduate Diploma (minimum pass at credit level) from Ondo State University of Science and Technology in relevant areas.

3. Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) and Masters by Research Degrees

• Graduates who have obtained an approved first degree with at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division) from Ondo State University of Science and Technology or other recognized institutions.
• A Second Class Honours Degree with a substantial amount of pertinent industrial experience is required.

4. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Degree

• Graduates who have earned a Master’s Degree in relevant fields from Ondo State University of Science and Technology.
• Graduates from other recognized universities who hold a master’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 on a 5.00 scale.

How to Apply for OAUSTECH Postgraduate Admission Form 2024/2025:

1. Candidates must submit their applications online at the University’s website (www.oaustech.edu.ng), using the REMITA payment method to the School of Postgraduate Studies account.
2. Application forms for postgraduate programs are available for a fee of N20,000.00 only.
3. Ph.D. and professional Doctoral candidates should submit their Research Proposals using the format surname_school/dept.doc, for example, Ojo_sos/che.researchproposal.
4. Non–OAUSTECH graduates are required to print the Transcript Label attached to the Application Form. They should then request their institutions to send their official academic transcripts to the address below with the Transcript Label indicating the desired Department. This must be done no later than six (6) weeks from the date of submitting the application form.
