FUOYE Postgraduate Admission Requirement

You need to fulfill specific requirements to obtain the application form for the FUOYE School of Postgraduate Studies.

1. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)

• To meet matriculation requirements, candidates must pass English and Mathematics at the O’ level (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB).
• Graduates who have obtained at least a third-class honors degree from Federal University Oye-Ekiti or any other recognized university.
• Individuals who hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least a Lower Credit grade from recognized institutions are eligible.
• Holders of any other qualifications, along with relevant field experience deemed acceptable by the University.

2. Masters Degree

• Candidates must have credits in English Language and Mathematics at the O’ level (e.g. WAEC, NECO, NABTEB).
• FUOYE graduates with approved 1st degree, 2nd Class Honours (Lower).
• Degree with 3.00+ CGPA or 2.40-2.99 CGPA + 3 years post-graduation.
• Candidates who have obtained a Third Class honors degree and have at least five years of post-graduation experience are eligible to apply.
• Applicants must possess a Postgraduate Diploma from Federal University Oye-Ekiti or any recognized institution with at least a pass at the credit level.
• Candidates whose degrees are unclassified, but have an average grade of C or above, are eligible to apply.
• Candidates need a Higher National Diploma (minimum credit) from recognized institutions and a Postgraduate Diploma (minimum pass at credit level) from Federal University Oye-Ekiti in relevant areas.

3. Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) and Masters by Research Degrees

• Graduates who have obtained an approved first degree with at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division) from Federal University Oye-Ekiti or other recognized institutions.
• A Second Class Honours Degree with a substantial amount of pertinent industrial experience is required.

4. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Degree

• Graduates who have obtained a Master’s Degree relevant to the proposed areas of study from Federal University Oye-Ekiti.
• Graduates from other recognized universities who hold a master’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 on a 5.00 scale.
• Candidates for the Ph.D. programs may be required to pass a qualifying examination and/or undergo a probationary period not exceeding 12 calendar months.

How to Apply for FUOYE Postgraduate Admission Form 2024/2025:

Step 1:	Login to http://spgs.fuoye.edu.ng/application-portal
Step 2:	On the Admission Menu displayed on the right-hand side, click “Registration Steps” and read the instructions carefully
Step 3:	If you NEW applicant, Click on “New Applicant” to create a new profile. Upon creation, you will be provided with an “Application Number” which will be required to log in to complete the application process
Step 4:	You will be required to provide the under-listed data:
	Valid Phone Number Valid Email Address Nationality Religion Date of Birth Email Academic Qualifications Scan Copies of your Original Credentials O’Level Results with a Minimum of two(2) sittings
	Note: Ensure to use a valid email Address and Phone Number you can be contacted if need arises. Also, always check your mail for updates and information
Step 5:	After updating your information, a confirmation link will be sent to your email box provided. Log on to your E-mail and click on the account activation link to verify your email account and registration details.
Step 6:	Login again after verification and click on the “Upload O’Level Results” link at the left-hand corner of the screen to complete your registration. Select the Number of Sittings and Enter all the subjects and grades respectively. On completion, click on Complete Registration” button then click OK on the message dialog box.
Step 7:	You will be prompted to pay your Application Fee and Portal Service Charge of N15,000.
Step 8:	Kindly select the Remita Payment Platform. You will be prompted to confirm the transaction, simply click “Ok” to proceed
	.: Payment Instructions 1 To initiate payment, complete the required form and activate your account as applicable, click on the small circle at the right hand with a pointed finger to proceed. 2 On the payment confirmation page; you will find your transaction details including transaction reference, amount to pay, service being paid for, etc. 3 Click on the “Remita proceed button” for redirection to Remita, where you can pay using any of the available channels including debit or credit cards, internet banking, mobile wallet, bank branch etc. 4 After successful online payment, the user is redirected back to the portal and can proceed with the service. 5 If an alternative channel was used (bank branch, internet banking), you are required to log back into the portal and proceed to obtain service. 6 If the response is successful, navigate back to the service that was paid for to continue to obtain service.
Step 9:	Confirm your Payment Information again and Click on the “Make Payment” button to Proceed.
Step 10:	Enter your ATM card details
	Select your ATM card type (e.g Verve or Master Card) Enter your Card Number on the front side of the card Enter the Card Expiry Date and the card CVV2  (the 3 digits on the reverse side of the card) Enter your card pin Click on the “Pay” button when you are done
	Please note:  (Do not Refresh your browser while the process is going on to avoid multiple deductions from your account. If nothing is displayed after 10 minutes, close the browser and restart again).
	Note: An Email containing the receipt of the transaction will be sent to your E-mail.
Step 11:	Upon payment proceed to complete your application by clicking on the “Complete Application” on your account menu
