Candidates Eligible for FUGUS Post UTME Screening 2024/2025
“To be eligible for the FUGUS Post UTME screening, you must meet the requirements and pass the UTME examination.”
- Candidates who scored a minimum of 170 and selected Federal University Gusau FUGUS as their first choice in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible.
- Candidates are required to have a minimum of five Credit level grades, obtained in not more than two sittings, in (SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB) O’ Level or equivalent.
- Direct Entry candidates with A Level, OND, HND, NCE, or JUPEB qualifications who selected FUGUS as their first or second choice institution or who are seeking to change their institution to FUGUS through JAMB and have obtained the 2024 Direct Entry JAMB form.

How to Apply for FUGUS Post UTME Form 2024/2025
- To apply for the Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) Post UTME, please visit the official portal at putme.fugusau.edu.ng.
- To begin the screening process, please click on the “Register for Screening” button.
- Please enter your JAMB registration number and then click on the “SUBMIT” button.
- If you meet the required cut-off mark, you can access the registration form. Fill out the form to generate an invoice containing the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR), then proceed to any commercial bank to make payment.
- After making payment, return to the school portal and complete your registration by logging in with your JAMB Number and RRR.
- Please upload a passport-sized photograph that is recent and no larger than 20KB. The photograph should be in .jpeg format.
- Once you have completed the registration process, it is important that you print out the registration slip. This document will serve as proof of your registration, so please make sure to keep it safe and easily accessible.
Note:
- For the post-UTME screening exercise, bring your UTME result slip, DE slip (for Direct entry only), registration slip, evidence of payment, and original and photocopies of all your credentials.
- Direct Entry (DE) candidates must have a National Diploma with at least a Lower Credit from a recognized institution. Alternatively, they must have scored 7 points in their NCE or IJMB results and chosen the University as their first choice.
Candidates are advised to take note that the Screening Exercise will take place on the date, time, and venue indicated on the screening exercise slip they received after completing their Online registration.
