Candidates Eligible for FUAM Post UTME Screening 2024/2025
“To be qualified for the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi (FUAM) Post UTME screening, you must meet the required criteria.”
- Candidates must have selected the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi (FUAM) as their first choice in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored at least 170 to be eligible.
- Candidates must obtain at least five Credit level grades in not more than two sittings, in (SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB) O’ Level or equivalent.
- Direct Entry candidates with A Level/OND/HND/NCE/JUPEB qualifications who have chosen FUAM as their first or second choice institution or are seeking a change of institution to FUAM through JAMB and who have obtained the 2024 Direct Entry JAMB form.

How to Apply for FUAM Post UTME Form 2024/2025
~Please note the following information regarding the UTME/Direct Entry Screening exercise at the University of Agriculture, Makurdi:
– Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only, which includes bank/service charges.
– Upon payment, candidates will receive a University of Agriculture, Makurdi UTME Screening Payment Slip from the bank. This slip will contain the candidate’s JAMB number as the username and a payment PIN as the password.
– Candidates must register online for the UTME/Direct Entry Screening by visiting uam.edu.ng/utme and following the guidelines provided on the website.
– During registration, candidates must provide accurate information about their candidature on the University portal. They should then print the online registration form from the University website and bring it along for the screening exercise.
– Only UTME Candidates (100 level) who have cutoff marks for the courses they applied for and have a minimum of five (5) O’ level credit passes in the relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings, are eligible to attend the Screening Exercise.
– Candidates are advised to check the requirements/subject combinations for their respective programs on the University Portal.

- Please generate your RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) number.
- Generate your RRR number only at the FUAM admission portal, not the Remita website or a bank branch.
- After generating your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR), select one of the three payment options below to proceed with payment.
The Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi (FUAM) offers three payment options to its students. These options are:
- Pay the fees at any commercial bank branch nationwide using REMITA.
- Use your ATM card on a mobile device (i.e. internet-ready handset, iPad, etc.) to pay fees/charges on the uam.edu.ng portal. Follow the instructions at fees.uam.edu.ng.
- For Internet banking, go to the school portal and follow the instructions to make payments using your bank ATM card.
Candidates are advised to take note that the screening exercise will take place on the date, time, and venue that is specified on the screening slip that was generated after their online registration.
