BASUG Postgraduate Admission Requirement

To obtain the application form for the BASUG School of Postgraduate Studies, you must fulfill the following requirements:

1. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)

  • Candidates must pass English and Mathematics at the O’ level (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) to meet matriculation requirements.
  • Graduates who have obtained at least a third-class honors degree from Bauchi State University or any other recognized university.
  • Individuals who hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least a Lower Credit grade from recognized institutions are eligible.

2. Masters Degree

  • Applicants must possess a Postgraduate Diploma from Bauchi State University or any recognized institution with at least a pass at the credit level.
  • Candidates whose degrees are unclassified, but have an average grade of C or above, are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates need a Higher National Diploma (minimum credit) from recognized institutions and a Postgraduate Diploma (minimum pass at credit level) from Bauchi State University in relevant areas.

3. Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) and Masters by Research Degrees
